Membership in Veran Ventures is by invitation only and is extended to individuals who share our vision and will actively contribute to our core philosophy. Members are required to be Accredited Investors.

Veran Ventures membership is comprised of serious accredited investors, business leaders, venture capitalists, corporate/institutional investors, family offices and serial founders. Veran Ventures enjoys synergies and close relationships with venture capital firms, universities, and other partner organizations.

Accredited Investor

A Veran Ventures accredited investor is an active accredited private equity investor as that term is defined in Regulation D under the 1933 Act and under other applicable securities laws and regulations. A Veran Ventures accredited investor is also a trusted, honest, and respected member of the business community. This member is a contributor of time, wisdom, and expertise to our founders and their companies and enjoys building relationships with other members and companies we fund.

Corporate Members

A Veran Ventures Corporate Member is a venture capital firm, institutional investor, economic development office, industrial partnership office, professional services firm or other forward-leaning organization focused on innovation as a strategic imperative. Corporate Members wish to benefit from the mindshare atmosphere of Veran Ventures and generally be exposed to the diversity and quality of companies, founders and investor members who make up the Veran Ventures community. The participation of Corporate Members aims to further promote innovation and foundership at a global scale.

Academic Members

A Veran Ventures Academic Member is an educational institution whose appointed faculty, staff, and enrolled students wish to benefit from the mindshare of the Veran Ventures Forum angel investor membership, learn about foundership best practices from presenting companies at Veran Ventures Forum meetings, and generally be exposed to the diversity and quality of companies, founders and investor members who make up the Veran Ventures Forum community. The participation of Academic Members in Veran Ventures aims to further enhance innovation and foundership in the region with an emphasis on educating and supporting founders and providing linkages between founders, and the investor community so as to create a vibrant economic climate.

Entrepreneurs in Residence

A Veran Ventures EIR Member is a past or present entrepreneur who seeks to benefit from the mindshare of the membership at large, learn about foundership best practices, and become exposed to the diversity and quality of companies, founders and members who make up the Veran Ventures community.
